I believe in the so called dual purpose labrador. I am breeding for healthy dogs with a classic labrador look that love to work and co-operate with their owners. My own bitches have qualifications from both field trial and show before they are mated. Often they also have qualifications from obedience and tracking. Naturally they are healthy, with X-rayed hips and elbows, and they are also free from inheritable eye diseases.
Now there are also two lovely Cavaliers in the kennel! No breeding so far but a healthy and qualified male at stud för suitable bitches.
